ReplyDeleteI have not really made a New Years resolution, but the one thing I hope is that I will be a good mom and hope I do not get deployed, and if I do, I hope I am strong enough to carry myself through the year. I am due with my first child on March 3rd, 2011 and I am also in the Army Reserves. Every 5 years, a reserve unit should be put on the deployment list. We just got put on the list about 2 months ago. Becase I am pregnant, I am not on the first round of people to go, but after I have her, I will be put on the list. I did go overseas in 2005, but I was single and had nothing holding me back. I am trying to keep my head up and hope they do not call me up, but I already have the experience, so I understand if it do. So, I guess my new years resolution is to be able to cope and stay strong with whatever endeavors my year bring.

ReplyDeleteEvery new year people make New Years resolutions to change aspects of themselves that they believe are negative..Since 95% of people break those, my New Years resolution is to be MYSELF and don't let what others think of me hinder my self esteem or make me feel bad about myself! I will be 100% myself!

ReplyDelete-veronika
I'm throwing my scale out! I will no longer be a slave to my scale in 2011!
ReplyDeleteI have lived my life in fear of everything and afraid of change. I've decided to be brave and go for it and live my life in the moment. I took a risk today and accepted a job outside of my career field and outside of my comfort zone. I refuse to be afraid of life!

ReplyDeleteMy New Years resolution is learn to love my job again. I work as a veterinarian technician and the longer I work there the more disgusted i get by it. Something about ticks jumping on me and biting me just doesn't make me smile, Fecal, urine and blood have become a part of my daily wardrobe. I love helping save animals lives and I love being able to make a difference in peoples (owners) lives; so I know this is what I want to continue to do with my life.. I just have to find my passion in loving the small/ disgusting things again.
ReplyDeleteMy new years resolution is to find myself. I am a new mother of a fairly new, 5 month old, baby girl! She consumes the majority of my time, of course, ALL children do! I would like to find the new me! There are a lot of changes when you become a mother, many more than women realize when they are planning on a family or even pregnant! I am a completely different woman, with many different views and values! I plan on it being a very positive resolution!
