  46. I have not really made a New Years resolution, but the one thing I hope is that I will be a good mom and hope I do not get deployed, and if I do, I hope I am strong enough to carry myself through the year. I am due with my first child on March 3rd, 2011 and I am also in the Army Reserves. Every 5 years, a reserve unit should be put on the deployment list. We just got put on the list about 2 months ago. Becase I am pregnant, I am not on the first round of people to go, but after I have her, I will be put on the list. I did go overseas in 2005, but I was single and had nothing holding me back. I am trying to keep my head up and hope they do not call me up, but I already have the experience, so I understand if it do. So, I guess my new years resolution is to be able to cope and stay strong with whatever endeavors my year bring.

  162. First I have to say your books have changed my life
With out saying to much, I made a big mistake- one that many of your characters have also made. I read your books hoping I would get "the message"....I did get the message. and now for 2011- I want to be a better person. and I have you to thank for that. Thank you Emily, you truly changed my life.

  190. My New Years resolution is learn to love my job again. I work as a veterinarian technician and the longer I work there the more disgusted i get by it. Something about ticks jumping on me and biting me just doesn't make me smile, Fecal, urine and blood have become a part of my daily wardrobe. I love helping save animals lives and I love being able to make a difference in peoples (owners) lives; so I know this is what I want to continue to do with my life.. I just have to find my passion in loving the small/ disgusting things again.

  191. My new years resolution is to find myself. I am a new mother of a fairly new, 5 month old, baby girl! She consumes the majority of my time, of course, ALL children do! I would like to find the new me! There are a lot of changes when you become a mother, many more than women realize when they are planning on a family or even pregnant! I am a completely different woman, with many different views and values! I plan on it being a very positive resolution!

so i dont know if i qualify for this or not since i live in pakistan but i thought i'd give it a try cause it's very hard to find a good tote bag over here!!
my new year resolution would be to be a better daughter to my mom cause of all the sacrifices she had to make. Also to learn to believe that just cause my father abandoned us doesn't mean that every man is like that but also to never be dependent on one and to finish my studies and start working within this year so i can help my mom with the finances.
